Tie fighter was the best game in the whole series.

Oh I soo miss those games (Mostly Tie Fighter).... the fond memories I have of blasting the crap out of XWINGS... How cool was the midi music and those awesome cinematic sequences were they progress the story line!? Who was the admiral who got owned for poisoning the imperial grain shipment? - Now that was a cool cutscene! Vader coming down in his shuttle and all to lay the smack down... Anway im just rambling on now, so ill go over *here* and do something else... *Runs away with a shriek*

I one of those cutscenes you see the emperor landing in his shuttle near his palace. One scene in episode three looks almost like that :) And the midi-files are great!

Well im talking about the Tie Fighter game not Xwing VS Tie Fighter, and in that scene its Vaders shuttle that lands... and he ends up force choking the traitor. EDIT: Although I could be wrong, its been so long since I played the game, I am probably thinking of Xwing not Tie Fighter... :uhm:

TIE Fighter was one of my first games. It rocked... No flight sims can match it. X-wing, however, I was not nearly as fond of.

How is X-Wing Alliance dated and not X-Wing and Tie Fighter? Personally I liked XWA more, good multiplayer fun. A pity the MSN Gaming Zone stopped supporting it in the last year, can't find servers for it anymore.

XwA had its own Multiplayer issues, but I liked XwA's multiplayer setup better. That was a fun game to play with clannies. The Zone stopped supporting all the good games :(

Especially DFII. That was my most played game until they shut that down. I've tried getting some people from www.Massassi.net to get together for a game every so often, but they seem too wrapped up with JA. :(

Ooh I'll play with you :D DFII = better than JO/JA The older games were so much better than these new-fangled things all the kiddies like.

Sounds good, I've missed a good DFII game for so long. RPGs were a lot of fun with so many of the huge maps out there. There was a 20 mb Coruscant map at one time, extremely large compared with the average 1 mb map. Might not have been the nicest looking, but it felt real right down to the traffic and transport which took you to a "new map" of Tatooine. What maps/mods do you have?
