I really don't think the DS is off to a good start. It might be selling, but that could just be because of the Nintendo name to it. It does have a lot of potential, but my worry is that I don't see a lot of games out for it.

They are slowly making and releasing the games. I know there is a Splinter Cell title on the way, not to meantion a splew of other titles I don't feel like typing. Ubisoft is taking all of their successful franchises to the DS stage. So no worries on that one.

I don't have it, but Metroid DS is very impressive.

Its Nintendo's last leg if the Next Gen console fails. It'll likely replace the GBA if a true GameBoy isn't made. The Dophin 2 better be good.

I dont have a DS but i have played one and they're pretty fun. I hope that much better titles are launched later into the year though.

I was so close to buying one today because i wanted to play mario 64 DS, But i decided to save my money for the psp. Mario Kart DS, Mario 64 DS, and the NEW Mario Bros. makes me really want one.

and the n64 ports will probably come flowing in in a while. with a few ds adjustments.

Yeah. I'd say you are probably right. Hopefully developers will build their games that truly use the touch screen later on instaed of using it to substitute for a button or analog stick.

Jhawk906 Yep, you heard right, Age of Empires for DS:smokin:

I've played Age of Empires on the pocket pc, which uses the touch screen. It was alright. Hopefully the DS version will be better.
