My parents are in Dubia and there are loads of playstation psps out there and there 40 pound cheaper there than in the UK i want 1 but need to know if it will work. I know the power is the same out there so there no problem with that but i need to know if the Uk games will work in a psp from Dubia? Basically are psp games universal will they work in any psp bought anywhere.
I know that imported Japanese DS games work in US DSs. I would assume that PSP games were marketed the same way. But I'm not positive.
Um, alot of the udpates are universal, even though Sony claim they arn't. I wouldn't see a deifference in them other than language or something...
All PSP games will work on your PSP no matter where there from... unless ofcourse their pirated. The only thing thats zoned is the movies for the PSP, so they may not work. However my mate has a US PSP and he can play some of the Australian UMDs... just not Be Cool. That worked after Sonys version 2.0 update, made his PSP un zoned... weird.

That's pretty funny. Sony is pretty wreckless. The PS2 was able to run pirated software a week after its release. Just shows how cheap Sony are.
They are cheap I give ya that. As I worked in the game industry for 8 years I saw all the PS2 come back faulty and the PSones aswell. SO many problems with the first batches and then more problems with the next models... I remember having to turn my PSone upside down to get it to play some in game videos properly... and the lasers on the PS2 scratching CDs and overheating... hrmmm should save this for a console war post :naughty: I was going to hold off getting a PSP but couldnt... Im a sucker. Anyways to turn this back into the original post discussion... yes they are universal... or did I already say that???? :p
