atari is about to release the flashback 2.0 . a shrunk down version of the 2600. the cool thing is that unlike the original flashback which was nes on a chip , the console will include original VCS hardware and the roms will be original . this will be a bonanza for the homebrew scene who will no longer have to depend on dwindling supplies of original 2600's. the console will also include replica cx40 controllers and be compatible with all original controllers. its going to be released in july. it seems atari learned from the success of the c64 in a stick . check out this link for news http://www.essentialreality.com/vga_catalog/product_detail.php/pid=97376/
