I read online that Avatar the game (based on James Camerons movie) is going to be 3-D, is this true? I also heard that they started development when JC started development on Avatar (3 years ago).

Can you clarify what you mean by 3-D? As in, will I need to wear 3-D glasses to play it?

I assume that's what he means. Unless he's been playing 2D games all his life and just found out the graphics have anted up since then.

But Yes, the Game will be in 3D with 3D glasses included with the game.

Well, since they've been working on it for the past 3 years, it has a chance of being average or mabye even Ok, like Wolverine was.

Blood and violence. Thats the only reason why the 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' game is considered better than the film. The gaming community loves violence. Companies love money. Put the 2 together in a movie tie-in game, and hey presto, you end up with a tie-in game which was better than the movie its based on.

But as I am sure you are aware, almost all movie-tie in games suck. I suspect Avatar will be no different.

The film may be good. Not going to see it as it doesn't interest me. But I bet you, the game will suck.

Here's the thing.

Video game that is being made after a movie. Not a good combination.

lol, in the ubisoft press conference James Cameron felt free to talk FOREVER on why it's the first movie game that won't suck.

All this means is I can't play it, with monocular vision I can't see 3d at all, I just have to wear the glasses so it's not blurry.
