Just a word to the wise. More does not necessarily equal better.
Judge on quality first, quantity second.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
crisissuit3;4120343then what should be on this thread? wait let me answer, maybe call of duty series, if so i agree the COD seris is pretty cool. other then that you have stumped me.
Battlefield 1942 was good. BF2 was good for the first year, after that the patches nuked it. Halo is an over-hyped mediocre game. Storyline isn't great "Oh look it's a Halo..let's blow it up". Halo 2.. "Oh there's another one, let's blow it up". And the online is just as any other game. I heard from a lot of people that were anticipating Halo 3, after they got it, said it wasn't that good.. Hence why I got rid of my 360 and got a PS3.
yes 1942 was a great game, played it at my friends house, little laggy but it was still good. we never figured out how to properly fly a fighter.
Halo leans towards the more 'fast-paced' type of gameplay. Battlefield is more tactical but hardly anyone cooperates these days. They're both different from each other and I don't think by a minor margin either. Get both - I think they're both pretty good.
i think the battlefield series should come with a mike and headphones to cooridinate better... that would be pretty cool.
Like Nanobot I only have halo so I say that
I didn't make it!
wow this one is different. I LOVE halo on the 360, not a fan of the PC version. and its great for what it is, a fast paced well made run and gun Multi-player game. and is best in the Death match mode.
As far as Battlefield, I have only had experience with the free online multi-player demo download of 1942. it was a lot of fun, with the airplanes and teamwork style. I only played over lan in our school dorm though, and I'll admit it was a lot of fun. But when I tried just online no one wanted to work together, which made me lose interest.
Thats what brings me to my favorite all time multi-player online game. Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. if you haven't played it and own a PC with a good internet connection, go buy this game, I believe you can get the original and the Team Sabre expansion pack for less than 20 bucks now. and there is always a good amount of people playing. Anyways, its like battlefield but slightly simpler, a lot of fun to play. *And please dont confuse this with the console version, or the "Xtreme" version, both of those are ridiculous, this game is best as is.*
So My vote goes to BHD
Halo 3 Fast paced action, story, but to many n000bs
