Looks pretty good, keep in mind while this is an "in-engine" trailer, it's all pre-rendered.

Wait for the inevitable actual gameplay trailers that DICE likes to do.

IT'S SO PRETTY.

To be fair, on PC at least, most of the time the game looks pretty damn close to the trailers. The Frostbite engine is super powerful.

Other than Verdun there are no WWI shooter games. It'll be interesting to see how they portray it.

Insane. Gloriously insane. I don't plan to buy it, but that picture and the tone of the trailer are gloriously stupid. I'm guessing they went with the "alternate history" approach to try and avoid backlash.

lets hope they don't.

new mirror's edge looks fine iirc, so there is hope.

if they'll fuck up mass effect andromeda though... i'll burn them to the ground.

The new Mirror's Edge has many issues. It's full of open world filler bs and appears to have lost (IMO) most of what made the first one great.

My only issue with this is that tanks were utter shit in WWI. They were slow and prone to getting stuck. It will be interesting to see how they make that play out.

The tanks will probably drive like dune buggies. I like realistic games, but a realistic WWI game probably won't be profitable. There'd be long stretches of boredem with the occasional death from random artillery or machine gun fire.

I like that they are going for the Lawrence of Arabia thing and that they intend to include naval and air combat. Unfortunately the BF games are usually too arcadeish for my taste.

I'm not sure if it's really fair to say that. The "open world filler bullshit" is pretty much what open world games are all about. I don't think there has been a single open world game without it that has also been entertaining.
