I personally think Counter Strike is the best game of all time. What do you think is the best game of all time?

Best game of all time? thats a hard subject... well, for consoles, i think it is a tie between GTA series and Jak series. And on the PC? may sound strange, but i think Planetside is the best PC game ever made, you just cant beat a large scale (300-400 people) battle. Well, technically, there can be 3000+ people per server, but thats all if they are on sub servers, but the events on the sub server are all connected to each other, say you capture on continent, the benefits will be senn on other continents also. cant beat an MMOFPS!

i have never understood CS' popularity, its and alright game, nothing special, nothing too good, nothing too bad, its just your typical 1999 mod...

yes, modding community alone is huge. I choose quake CTF as the best game of all time.

Final Fantasy IX for consoles, its an ld game but it takes a long time to complete and has good replayability. I still see myself going back to complete it every few months. CoD for the pc, don't know why I just like it alot.

The idea is not to camp behind a box for the whole round because it sucks ass and is boring, not only for you but the other team trying to find you. You're about as popular as a dose of Gonorrhea when you do that in a server. CS is fun to play, fairly fast paced and not too realistic. I personally find too realistic games not fun and prefer a bridge between something like Americas Army and Quake 3 or UT, so things like CS and BF2 fit the bill nicely. I judge the best game ever to be how long I've ended up playing it, which shows its true greatness. I very rarely play singleplayer games, and only make exceptions for games like HL2. I'd say in terms of long play either CS or Day of Defeat are my favourite games. Possibly EVE Online too, I'm undecided. I personally can't stand CoD, and I find that the way the models waddle like they've got a rod up their arse is extremely irritating. Heat Of Battle was a fairly good mod, but I'd still prefer DoD. CoD is one of those games which encourages excessive spamming of automatic weapons. DoD makes rifles easily the most deadliest weapon in the game when used properly. I did play MOHAA for a long time too, and really enjoyed that on MP. Retail MOHAA sucked arse, it was only when the CKR realism mod came out and was adopted by a large number of servers it became fun. This brought a reasonable level of realism and damage to the weapons. Before you would have to empty a whole Tommy clip into someones chest before they'd go down, and two sniper rifle shots to the head for them to die....thats pretty bad. I enjoyed playing Wolfenstein Enemy Territory too, that was a great MP game, and a good improvement over the original RTCW MP. My top MP games ever in order would be: 1. CS (Probably now CS:Source replacing 1.6 and 1.5) 2. DoD 3. MoHAA (w/CKR Realism) 4. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory 5. Tribes 2

Zelda - Link to the Past on the Snes closely followed by Ocarina of Time...easy question to answer really.
