I'm fond of the Ak-74 and the An-94, but I don't know about the 'best.'

The XM8. For what I've read around this will be revolutionary. It is VERY light weight and it is kinda pure plastic. Although you might think wtf? Plastic?!, but hey man the G-36 is mostly plastic aswell. This gun is truely the future. It has good accuracy good rate of fire and reliabillity so far of what that is tested. xm8-poster.jpgXM8%20green%201.jpg

No, actually the gun is very simple and versitile, that's certianly it's biggest selling point. The plastics make it like, and easy to repair, and less of a need to have the gun matianenced. It is in testing by the US military, and has already seen action in special forces (I mean like Delta Force, not SEALS). Another great advantage is that the assualt man, and switch to the support gunner in about fifteen seconds without the need to know how to use a different gun. The gun sure is an ugly one though, at least the M16 and AK47 have a little more sex apeal, but whatever gun works best I suppose.

[QUOTE=-Ghost-]I've heard that the G-11 Assault Rifle was fairly good too, although I don't know much of it. g11prone.jpg this is the gun out of Demolition Man the one Simon Pheonix nicks from the meuseum if it does what it does in that film this would win lol
