Hey guys, Looking for a little feedback. I want to buy a good racing game for the PC. In multiple categories if possible. I.E. - Rally, Street, Racetrack, Offroad, etc. I've really only played the Need For Speed Series and want something different. Let me know. I would also prefer to get something that has some progression to it. Career, car upgrades, etc.

There really are no good ones, unless you like NASCAR. Then I can recommend NR2003 by Papyrus. Many add on tracks to download so you don't have to just race in circles. There is also a GTP MOD that screams. The Sierra lobby is always active with many races going on. Let me know if you go that route and I will show you some fun servers.

EA also has a NASCAR SIM out, although it needs work.

For Rally, Richard Burns is the TOP. Make SURE to play with a wheel/pedal set with ANY racing game. I use the Logitech MOMO right now, but will be buying a better one soon.

Also a game coming out called FLATOUT. http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/255416.asp VERY fun game with some awesome physics.

Theres no alot of high-class racing games out there for PC, I would suggest NFS.

Thanks for the input guys. Tried the Midnight Run 2 but it got a little flat after a while.

Have depated about the Nascar racing but it sounds like it might be a solid choice.

I'll also look into Richard Burns for the Rally. What is the Colin McRae(???) like?

Never played Colin. NASCAR NR2003 is a SIM, once you turn off all the AIDS it is a blast to learn and drive. PM me if you do get it.

What wheel do you use?

Not in the US.
