I've played the demo for Xbox 360, and it was absolutely awesome.

Unfortunately, I was a bit late in pre-ordering it (wanted the collector's edition, and they stopped taking pre-orders on it a few hours before I could get mine), but I've bought one off of eBay and it should be here any day now. :D

The reviews on the games are saying it's phenomenal, and better yet, it's just the first game of many for the "Great Game Avalanche of Fall '07"!

gizmo;3877955HEAVY SPOILER(s)
Spoiler: Show
Completed it this evening on the medium difficulty. When I was opted to harvest or save the little sisters the first time, I decided to save them instead of harvesting (killing?). You receive less ADAM however the woman said that she would reward you in the end for not harming the little sisters. After 'saving' 3 little sisters, I would get a gift which would give me 200 ADAM plus some ammo and other goodies. This happened each time I would save 3 of them so in total I got around 5 gifts which totaled 1000 ADAM, plus the 80 ADAM you get with each little sister save. Now the story also seems to work around this decision so I'm assuming there are multiple endings. Once I killed Adam Ryan and found out Fontaine was the real enemy, I was saved by the woman that was taking care of the little sisters. This kindness was due to me saving the little sisters, so I'm curious about the plot changes if I decided to harvest (kill) them from the beginning. They helped me from that point on and even during the last fight (boss fight) they were there. So if you're reading this and have also completed the game, but did so by harvesting, can you reply to me the details of completing the game by harvesting the little sisters? I'll eventually replay the game probably (on hardest difficulty) but let me know just in case as I'm now curious. Cheers.

Yep just beat the game by harvesting the little sisters so IF YOU DON'T WANT A POTENTIAL ENDING RUINED DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER well once I killed Fontaine (the easiest kill in the game) the movie began like the good ending with the little sister walking up to you to give you the genetic key to rapture, unlike the ending yoU grab her arm and shake her to get the key, it zones out to an under the water view of a submarine, on top of the submarine the navy is poking around through the water with a pole as there is wreckage, (presuambly from Rapture) on the surface of the ocean, suddenly it goes to an over head view of the sub, Bathyspheres rise all around the sub and spider splicers leap from them killing the men, the camera pans as Tennenbaum says "Your father feared you getting a hold of all of raptures secrets, but even when you did that, you hadn't had enough, you wanted the rest of the worlds secrets as well" and the camera pans over a Nuke, confirming you were now the proud and evil owner of a Nucear submarine and now had means to attack the surrounding world. Oh and true, Trap bolts from the crossbow slay big daddies with ease you just have to lure em into around 4 of the bolts, but before you get the crossbow, a fully upgraded shotgun really does the job good

I just saw the demo today at a friend's house and I've gotta give it my compliments. A very nice game graphically and for the Era that it's set in, they did a wonderful job on environment. I'm surprised someone would concieve of making a game set in the 1960's, but the way they pulled it off is admirable and I look forward to playing the game myself when I upgrade my video card. I give it 7/10 for good quality content, but the requirements kill it for your average Johnny. (And an underwater city.. A near-original Idea :D)

I was fortunate enough to get Bio Shock for my 360 the day it came out. The 360 version won my over as my PC won't run it well. Unfortunately that same day my 360's disc drive is beginning to malfunction. I guess I'll have to send it in for repairs for the third time. A shame as a only got to play the game for a few hours.

There's so much variety in the plasmids,.weapons, and tonics I can never decide on what to use.

I even have one tonic which lets me turn invisible if I stand still, I haven't used it in a while though as I preferred to use others in its place. I also got one that gives me a chance to freeze enemies if I hit them with my wrench (as if the freeze plasmid and liquid nitrogen ammo wasn't enough!)

Either way, I'm loving this game.

Playing it through on hard, completed it on medium... and the plot twist! You know the one I'm talking about... that one, left me reeling for hours. Definetly worthy of the game of the year title.

I just completed the game an hour ago. The plot twist was a complete shock. I'm now going back and doing it on a harder difficulty. By the way, for those of you who haven't completed the game yet, the plot twist happens when you reach "Hephaestus".
