I think quake 4 would be better for multiplayer. But you better have a good graphics card, like 6600 (at least) If you are looking for single player, CoD 2 is better. Quake 4...well...it's hard to say. I like the game, and there are plenty of people who don't for some reason or another. So just play it safe, and go for CoD 2. CoD 2 multiplayer is supposed to be good as well. I am not sure. I have never played it. Single player of Quake 4 is good. But there is nothing new here. Basically, it's something like Doom 3 and not a whole lot new. In the sense, there is plenty of action, but there is nothing new about it, except for the visuals, which I can safely say are amazing. But if you are looking more in terms of game play, then go for CoD 2.

yeah thanks for post, I hear ya, yeah I've played quake 4 demo and multiplayer - multiplayer was mind blowing, i agree, graphics are hard too. I liked single player also. For cod2, i've tried demo also. I liked it too, actions everywhere, which it's okay that quake 4's graphics are harder than cod2's anyways. At least it has a lot of action. Too bad demo didn't include multiplayer.....

Damn, both are good and i dont know which one lol...hmm, probably quake 4...

Right. I played the demo of CoD 2, and I am very impressed with it. Works decently well even on a 5200.

i have to say that if its a brilliant single player expierience your after, then go for call of duty 2-also backed up by a decent multiplayer

Quake 4 is the king when it comes to multiplayer though and pure carnage-call of duty 2 is more tactical in its multiplayer.Quake 4 has decent single player aswell but-nothing new and at times feels like your playing doom 3 with the action put up a notch.
