It’s not at all unusual to spawn, take two steps, and get immediately gunned down. Repeatedly. Ultimately, that’s the biggest problem that MW3′s multiplayer presents.
This has been a problem since MW2 and before.

No Zombie Mode. I'm sticking with Black Ops. Until 2012 anyway, I expect there will be another game out then, as is the schedule.

You liked zombie mode?
I just scored the hardened edition of MW3 in an ebay 1 day sale, for £1.50! :)
Nature's best screw up.

Played through the sp last night, it felt very scripted with dumb AI. They went more for cinematic fluff than tactical challenge in this one. I didn't see any places with endless waves you have to advance through like in Black Ops, but then I don't recall MW2 having any either.
A couple of things that bug me are the lighting is horribly unbalanced and 5.1 audio very poorly done. Most missions are pretty dark and you have access to NV goggles in only two of them. That will make Veteran difficult more due to gimmicks than the AI, which just isn't right.
I'm finding the audio volume to be pretty weak and center channel barely used. When the center channel IS used, it's only really detectable when you hear radio chatter from Nikolai in his chopper. I have a commonly used Realtek HD Audio too.
Graphics quality wise, for the most part I really have no complaints. They're not nearly as bad as some of the BF3 fanboys make it sound. That said, BF3 DOES have superior graphics, and with the Nvidia 285.79 Beta driver that just released, 99% of the graphics problems have been fixed.
I'm now enjoying BF3 with no stutter, no corrupt shadows, and improved FPS. Only slight issue I've had is the short distance where you go from one side to the other of the upper concourse of the bank lobby in Operation Guillotine, where I got the dreaded black slivered triangles.
Odd that "black corruption lines/triangles" were said to be one of the fixes in 285.79, because they were only present in 280.26, not 285.62.

Wait, dedicated servers were thrown out again? I thought IW was going to return to using those after the failure of IW.net. I saw a story on it.
EDIT: Found out that there are dedicated servers, but they are unranked.

[QUOTE=Admiral Antilles;5584091]I actually prefer Survival mode to Zombie.
Isn't that pretty much the same though, except you've got people shooting at you instead ~ the very same thing that you've got on multiplayer. The zombie mode adds something a little different, in the way that you're the only one with the guns. :)
