Sorry if you get told this later in the game but I have just finished Land 4 and could of done with doing this already so if its in a tutorial will just wait. Can you command say all Disiple farmers to stop farming etc ????

I dont know why you need that but disciples dont stop until they die so in short terms no.

Why would you want the farmers to stop? if you need to, collect them and turn them into miners, they'll stop when theres no ore around and will act like regular citizens, or turn them into worshipers. besides, farmers are very important to the balances in population to that game.

i can understand why he would want to do this because i sometimes have a situation where i dont have any men to make troops with so being able to make male disciples normal citizens again would be a great help although you cant do this .

You can select the people you want to un-assign roles to and drop them all somewhere using the 'backspace' key That basically gives them the freedom to do what they wish

The really simple way is not to make disciples in the first place. Played well the game doesn't need them "spare" villagers will go and do the work most needed. You don't even need breeders as the migrants are enough. . But. . If you want to fight rather than build your way through then you need to do things differently.
