Once again, Cheating is on the rise.

I'm using a Mac, and I understood that there would be delays...and so I'm still in 2.1

I cannot increase my honor anymore, but that doesn't bug me. I have 24 honor, and thats enough to earn the respect of other players.

Trying to find a game without a single cheater is impossible. In one pipeline game i was playing, i came upon this guy. I had an AR, he had a 16 (AK on my scren.) Of course, a soon as i open fire on him, he stops for a moment, standing still, and shoulda been cut down completely by my AR. Of course, there had been no lag whatsoever, and to make sure i killed him, i aimed both to the left and right as i strafed, although at first i made sure to keep the crosshairs on him too. He just stood there, not moving, and one shot killed me. It was the beginning of a round so i was still green. yet, after pumping him full of lead, his aimbot or whatever kills me. Adding insult to injury, the next pipeline server i went on, this guy was using aimbot, and was tracking people through walls....but that is another story.

If people have to resort to cheating, they should find some single player game they can cheat at, so they dont spoil the fun for the rest of us.

Whew....I feel much better now

i honestly think the cheaters out there need to go find a nice single-player game in which they can cheat, so they dont ruin everyone else's experience.

to all the cheaters out there: CHEAT AGAINST BOTS IN BF 1942 OR SOMETHING, AND LEAVE THE REST OF US HONEST GAMERS ALONE

I was just currently on AA 2.2.1(windows XP Prof. user) and was on MOUT to try to get my honor up without having to worry about ROE violations(SAW's are ROE-happy if you havent noticed). The server was an AA Official. When i connected to the servre I noticed one thing:

So-and-So was shot by !$hot![Hax0r] So-and-So was shot by !$hot![Hax0r] So-and-So was shot by !$hot![Hax0r] So after a few rounds of this constant bull, I finally convinced and taught the "n00bs" how to kick someone(namely the hacker). When enough votes had poured in, i thought we had it made.

But no, !$hot used WAYYYY more then an aimbot and a Run-n'-Shoot hack. No matter how hard we tried(pb_kick didnt even work either), we couldnt kick him. He even had colored nametags! I personally want to know where to get those :p cuz I don't seem to think they are as bad as constant headshot bullcrap. The worst thing was that it was an OFFICIAL server! Many people have said(and I totally agree with them) that Punkbuster(hereafter reffered to PB) is a lag machine. One should think that an Official Server should have more security, or at least an admin in there who can ban I.P's or something(I'm not an admin so i wouldnt know). I admit i went on my own hacking spree on version 2.0 but thats long gone. So to all you hackers/exploiters out there: :moon: GET SOME!

The following was apparently posted on the official AA Forums by the developers:

Some of you (and clearly the bad guys are among them) don’t always remember that this game, and all accounts and derivative products, are the property of the United States Army. When you tamper with the game, not only are you breaking the EULA you’re misusing Army property – and, worse, you’re misusing US Army computer programs and equipment.

Tampering with software and servers owned or used by the Army is cyber crime.

In the early 1940’s, Japan learned an important lesson – “let the sleeping giant lie.” We may not react swiftly, but when we do it’s with unstoppable force. The Army has partners that deal with cyber crime as a matter of course. These include not just various Army IT departments, but also the Department of Justice, the Secret Service, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

It’s going to get uncomfortable for some of the bad guys, but you know what? They brought it on themselves. Knowing this anyone who continues to be bad is just plain foolish. Keep trying, though. Sooner or later the bad guy will realize we’ve known about him for a while… and by then it’s too late.

Allow me to speak directly to the bad guys for a moment: When you get banned, know that we know and have records showing you were doing something that’s a violation of terms of service, breaks your EULA, and also happens to be against the law. We know who you are, and can track down where you play from. We have incontrovertible proof you did something illegal. The Army is angry, and we’re coming for you.

That cheer you up? :bows: :cya:

I thought the entire point to PB was to cease use of hacks such as aimbot? Really, PB seems to be just a lag machine. When COD UO came out all PB did was lag the game to unplayable, randomly boot players for no reason, and generally just screw the gameplay up. I like the concept of PB, but it does not seem to work. Isnt there any other newer technology out there that can prevent hacks? I have been playing the SF Hospital lately, I noticed one of my own teamates kept on getting booted for PB violations. Later that evening he was again on my team on a different server. I noticed 2 things, 1st he had by far the highest score. Second, following him he seemed to always know when the enemy was around the corner. By that I mean he would run and run, but then stop, creap around and fire. How did he know to stop there and run the other times? Add it all up and I believe something was not right. Granted his honor was 92, but that means nothing if he was using aimbot.

Funny story, in Call of Duty, one player had 70kills to 0 deaths on one map, next map he has like 90 kills to 5 deaths, and yet he profusely claimed innocence as if we were going to believe him. What a twit. To tell you the truth it was actually kind of fun as it made trying to kill this cheating SOB all the harder gameplay

No not really the army has said it will take care of the cheating problem for 3-4 years now and all they have done so far is add the near worthless pb the army aint gonna do shite about it never have never will they will just try to write the program different so the hackers have to take another five minutes <-litteraly out of their day to adjust their hack.. Its pointless they will never stop hacking of this game if they could they would have..not that I am against it or anything I would love to see the army start showing up and skull raping these little pos 5 year old hackers...but sadly they won't
