Well I just installed AA about two days ago on my new comp, so this is the problem. Every time i try to play online the server kicks me saying a communication file Pnkbstra.exe has failed or something like that. I've reinstalled the game three times and tried online solutions to this problem but nothing seems to work. please help. :bawl:

I need an exact error report, to post one, please do the following:

1. Go to the AA system folder, located here: \America's Army\System 2. Find a file called ArmyOps.log 3. Open it in notepad 4. Hit 'Ctrl' + 'F' 5. Search for the word 'KICK' 6. Highlight and copy the whole kick message (from where it says PB KICKING .... for the first time, till the last time it says it - in a single case). 7. Post it here, and let me take a look at it :)

Let me know if you get lost with those instructions, or if you're having trouble finding the kick message or .log file.

Are you running Vista by any chance?

If you get kicked again, please post me the KICK log as per the instructions above :) I'll be able to help then.

There have been hundreds of PnkBstra errors reported from Vista users. Vista isn't the best OS for running AA, but nevertheless it can be done :)

Let me how the re-install/download goes.

You should use a download manager to download AA otherwise the files you download will have a high chance of being corrupt.

I suggest using DAP

It's easy to use and basically guarantees a full, non-corrupted download. You can stop/start the download and turn your computer off and on and just open DAP to continue downloading where you left off.

Very useful program.
