Okay, so I'm an avid fishermen and I enjoy video games from time to time, so after purchasing a Nintendo Wii(which I am very happy with otherwise) I figured, hey, a fishing game that mimics the real usage of a fishing pool! Great! But after purchasing "Rapala tournament Fishing", a title from "Activision-value", a division of activision, I found myself disappointed from the second I started.
This is a horrible game. It is unrealisticly played, and the visuals make me want to hurl. The box advertises "800,000 acres of lake!" but you can literally go from one end of a stage to teh other in 5 seconds. Long ways.
So what does a completely unsatisfied customer do? Take the product back to the store of course! Oh, only they wont take it back. So ask the company for a refund! Nope, they don't care. So my question is - If you can take back any type of product you're unsatisfied with - why not video games? you could take back furnature, clothing, food that was bad, electronics that you didn't like, probably even baby diapers. But not the high and mighty video game industry. God forbid that they are held accountable for a piss poor product.
I understand that a few people would copy the game, but this game is seriously not worth copying. This is a huge rip off and the companies, such as "Activision-Value"(which is an excuse to lower quality, by all means) take atvantage and pump out garbage! knowing you cant return it. This is bull-shit. Who's with me?
Have you tryed at last a demo or something before purchasing??
when you live in a small town, you don't have access to renting games that are newest gen games, the stores expecially dont carry nintendo. Also I don't have the internet to know that review sites exist, I'm on my nephews computer. So this is especially for people in my situation. Just because these things exist, doesn't excuse poor quality.
i am both with and against you bad monkey. i am with you in the fact that this has happended to me before. but im against what you said because it is our responsibility as gamers to checkout what is good and what is not.
Solution: Ebgames. they will take back any title for any reason pretty much, as long as it is within their thirty day policy!
