I havn't updated because of not having an internet connection on the PC I play NWN2 on so it's still v1. I'm only assuming this might have something to do with it because I've played through the game before without problems when it was updated. Anyway, I can save the game up until I enter the crypt at Lord T-whatever's place. After the cutscene with that ugly fat monster, I can't save without the game crashing. Actually, it starts to save, even makes the file, crashes, and then it crashes again when I try to load the file I tried to save. Yeah sounds confusing but it's pissing me off because even if I try and go without saving, I cannot use the world map without it crashing because it automatically saves your game when exiting a region. So...to anyone that even checks this forum out anymore, any suggestions to fix this annoying problem? THANKS

IIRC, the problem you're having is one of the bugs associated with that specific section of the game, but not quite the most annoying one.....
Since you don't have an internet connection for which to download the updates I'd reccommend you go out and buy the expansion, Mask of The Betrayer.
The expansion will update the vanilla game to the version the expansion pack was designed for, which should solve your problems.
However, if you don't want to spend money on an expansion for NWN2, try reinstalling the game. If this doesn't solve the problem for you, then I'm afraid you may have to either; a) Wait until you have internet access with which you can update the game.
b) Take the PC that NWN2 is installed on to a friends' house who has internet access, and use their connection to update the game.
If I were you, I'd fork out the money for MoTB. Imo, it's a good expansion to the story, it adds a few more classes to the game, allows an alternate camera system, more options for the toolset and for the expansion portion of the game (after the battle with the King of Shadows), it allows you to progress upto Level 30.
If this isn't helpful enough, then I'm sorry for you man:( That part of the game (the tomb with the big a**ed monster breaking in) is a pain in the ass until after a few updates, and left me so frustrated I had to stop playing for a couple of days. Thankfully, Obsidian were allowed to continue updating the game to remove bugs and improve upon the game.
Alright man thanks a lot, didn't really even expect to get a response. Just one more question...is it possible to install the game on my other PC that has a connection but has sucky performance (wouldn't be able to run NWN2) and then somehow take the updated files back to my other one, and copy/paste them to the game folder? Thanks again.

One potential method would be to take the HDD from your good machine, and swap it into your "crappy" machine for the updating.
When all is done, swap it back.
I've done similar things before, and it works nine times out of ten.
Fingers crossed that if you try that, it's one of those nine times:)
Alright cool you've given me some good ideas to try. Thanks a lot for the response and detailed feedback. I hope one of 'em works!
