bud389;4935168.... But i can garuntee you, that if it launches on time, that's going to be pretty damn near close to what it looks like.

LOL, you don't seem to get that is indeed our point. You're raving about one shot from what is obviously a seamlessly thrown in cutscene, vs in game action. Anyone that looked at that trailer I linked to can see the bulk of the game's graphics don't look anywhere near that good, anyone by you apparently.

So, whether you realize it or not, what you are "guaranteeing", is nice looking cutscenes. Again, gee whizzing over a few snippets you read about the games graphics rendering. Just use your eyes bud, the tech words seem to be clouding your judgment.

I remember Crysis and Crysis Warhead both had cutscenes that looked "better" than the game at max settings + max AA. For me, Crysis Warhead really demonstrated how superb looking the engine is capable of rendering the game world environment. But why would they used prerendered cutscenes here and there? Was it perhaps they at some point decided their own game engine wasn't capable or efficient rendering/animate refined details on facial expressions during dialogs ... or monologues?

There's a command you could put in the console that makes the vegitation looks better and other things, I don't know what it is. My brother did it a while ago. Looked fantastic.

Like i've said before, their are no pre-rendered cutscenes during the actual gameplay of crysis, mabye for the beggining with the intro of all the things the Nanosuit can do, but no where else, everything else is technologicaly, ingame capable, and can very possibly even go further then that.
