I don't know if anyone here still plays this game. But I have a problem. See, I play with Assassin, Hell difficulty, River of flame level. Character level is 99. For some obscure reason, I keep suddenly dying by the hand of various enemies and from a single blow, before I know it. All my health drops at once. I don't know if that's some bug or what, but it's annoying. Just on that level. Never happened before. Now, my character was hacked in ZonFire (I play for fun since I've finished the game properly more times than I can count), it didn't help. I hacked her some more, so much that I gave her max life, mana, skill levels, everything, and in addition I made her armour to have 5049 defense. It still doesn't help, I still keep dying in a split of a second for whatever stupid reason. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

A lot of anti-hax defenses were laid in with the recent patch.

Besides, Hell difficulty is just the epitome of horseshit. Completely unfair resistance penalties, insane damage multipliers.... When they call it Hell, they're not kidding. It's perfectly normal for a character playing on Hell difficulty to die more times than Captain Jack. All you can really do is keep trying and hope you get lucky.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

But it didn't happen so far, it only ever keeps happening once I'm in the River of flame level, and only once I enter the building for the last boss fight. I've played with a hacked character for months now, and on Hell difficulty several times before and no such thing happened. Until now. I didn't get the most recent Diablo patch, I still have v1.11

Well, that is weird. Hmm. Without trying to debug and isolate a cause I'm not sure if I can offer any assistance personally, but I'll ask around.

Thanks, I'd appreciate any tips short of reinstalling.
