I know there's a Jedi Knight series forum but it's only for II and III. Anyway, I just came across my old copy of Jedi knight Dark Forces II. I have Vista now, though, and when I play the game it's pitch black. I can't see anything. Can someone help me with this? Is there a fix? Should I update drivers?

Is it compatible with that kind of windows? I remember I had problems running old games with XP... Well try to update drivers but Im not sure it will help. Or there might be the VDMS program I used to play the old games on XP but that is not the case with this game I guess... Sorry if I didn't help...

Hey, feel free to start up as many DF/DF2 threads as ya like in the Off-Topic sections in JK Series. Most of the older members still in there remain partial to the older two games.

Anyway, straight back to the point, did you try compatibility mode? Worked fine for me, just slap it in Win95 or Win98 compatibility mode and it should work like a dream.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Hi :). Yeah, I installed the latest drivers and tried every compatibility mode and it's still blank.

This is really weird. I found out it was just the menus that were the problem. And when I ALT+TAB out of the game and then go back in I can see them. Know of any way how to fix this?
