I have had this error before and got it corrected but now it is doing it again and my warranty is waaaaaaay past its experation date. If some one can tell me a way of correcting this error myself it would be greatly appreciated. not beaten.:smack: I think it only does it with my GTA San Andreas CD but I don't have anything else to try it on. (I have a real bad losing things problem) Has anyone else had any GTA San Andreas problems.

Well he said CD and not DVD (what PS2 games are on).

You are going to have to give us a hell of alot more information if you want any real help. Post your drive model, the revolution speed, any other drives installed, whether you are using Master/Slave... etc.

Well, most people I know call a Playstation DVD disc, a "CD Disk thingy", besides, some PS2 discs are CDs.

@ jonny2x4, Assuming this is a PC problem, it would also be helpfull to know which version of Windows you're using.

Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows XP Media Center Edition (WinXP MCE), Windows XP 64-bit Edition RC1, Windows Millenium Edition, or Windows 2000.

I just another site, EB Games Pre-Order GTA SA PC Version It says its not going to be released untill June 2005.

Good point - it isn't out for PC. If you need console help, it is best to ask over at the PS2 forum. Go there by scrolling down to "Console Forums" and clicking on "PS2". If you are talking about a PC rip of SA, then don't bother coming back, you're not wanted.

I am not sure about GTA:San Andreas...But i had the same thing with Madden 2005.

If you got it fixed it should work, when did you get it fixed???

If it was a short time ago, complain to them, if it was a long time ago, go enjoy a slim PS2, while i sit and play on my fat one that i bought a week before the slim one came out...

this is strange..... This problem is so common with the PS2 yet I have had mine for approximately 3.5 years and have never had any disc read errors. I bought mine when it first came out.
