I read the manual on most games, but on some games I just don't.

Moved from General Discusson to General Gaming, since it's a bit more game orientated.

I usually ready the manual if the game comes with one, I like to see all the features and everything of the game before I jump in.

Most of the time but only while it installs. If It's a big game with lots of content that I've been dieing for, I might abit for first few days.

I read manuals, out of a mix of curiosity and an urge to know everything about a game before I start to play it.

I read them sometimes to get a broader picture on the story line and character plot. Also you learn something sometimes from the manual.

As I see it if I can't get the hang of a game's controls in the first 30 minutes it's probably so badly designed that it's not worth playing.

I do read the manual from time to time... but only in games like Republic: The Revolution

Now you see that's an excellent example of exactly what I'm talking about. The mechanics the background, all brilliant, but it was so badly designed it just wasn't worth the time.

Most of the time I read the manual. Unless of course the game is pretty simple to understand to begin with.
