Everybody I know is only interested in the new stuff that's coming out and doesn't remember games like Super Mario World or Sonic. Does anybody here still play Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis?

LOL, my idea of classic video games are the old PC classics like Deux Ex, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor, etc. To me the ones you mentioned are too much like Saturday morning cartoons which I watched as a kid, well before I even got into video games. To me, gaming should be a step well beyond your TV watching youth.

I have Super Mario World, Harvest Moon, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Sim City, Breath of Fire II and Phantasy Star II all downloaded for the Wii. All great games, especially the little gems like Harvest Moon. Who knew farming could be so addictive.

And I don't care what anyone says, Pokemon Red and Blue(as well as Fire Red and Leaf Green) are awesome. So yeah I still play and enjoy classic games.

I still play Final Fantasy 6 [called 3 in US], but instead of the SupNintendo, I play it on my DS. Still the best RPG hands down.

Other retro games? I never got into the Mario thing, not kart nor adventures, nor did I like Yoshi. I do play Castlevania: Circle of the Moon on the GBA now and again, but only because I can beat the game in 7 hours and that's fun.
