Eleven months never seemed so far away. I just hope the combat system is given a bit of an overhaul so arrows aren't purely for decorate purposes, and armor has both DT and DR attributes.
DT and DR attributes?
I would like to see some more info on the gameplay in the future. Only thing I know is that this game follows up on events in Oblivion, and I'm guessing by the emphasis on "Dragonborne" at the end it might involve the next Emperor.
But still, at least it is official. Skyrim would be interesting.
Is it finally going to be based on a new game engine? Or is it going to be Oblivion and Fallout 3/NV again just with a different look?

What ever new engine they bring in, I hope it is modder friendly. One of the draws for me for Morrowind and Oblivion was their modability. They really extend their life.
@Mihail: How can you be so sure? I heard it's an updated FO3 engine.
Regardless, a game from bethesda softwork is still worth more than many other games simply due to the intriguing world and lore.
I just hope they have some people who take surveys and a good look at mods cause it would be so much better and stable if they included functions like in Deadly reflex, Unnecessary violence and other major mods and graphics overhauls. I'm going on this because of the fact that they usually have a much larger and dedicated team of debuggers, that are getting PAID and they are the only ones who will know their piece of software in and out. At least if you want every single goddamn tiny detail.
As for mod-ability, I wouldn't really doubt them now, considering every game after daggerfall that falls under their name has had a great degree of mod-ability. But just in case, let's cross our figures and drink to even greater mod-ability and mods for TES V.
