I can't make up my mind. Everytime I see Supreme Commander footage, I can't help but drool and remeniss to the days of Total Annihilation, one of my favorite games all-time. At the same time, when I watch CnC 3 footage, I can't help but drool and remeniss to the days of the very first CnC, and the many after it (although Tiberium Sun was blehg).
So, I will be buying both games for sure, but if I was asked to pick my favorite, I wouldn't know.]
What do you guys think & why?

Supreme Commander no doubt about it. I think its a very worthy successor of TA (well, being made by the same person does that).
About getting Command and Conquer... hmmm.... tough decision to be honest. I will see when it gets here.
I, would have to get Command & Conquer 3, why? because the CnC games are just classics! x-M-x
For me, this is a tough choice. I'll be getting both the games regardless, but to choose a favourite is asking too much :p Supreme Commander is what many believe to be Total Annihilation 2 (in essence, it is actually Total Annihilation 2) just with a different name. However, some people would have thought we'd get a Total Annihilation 2 earlier than this, though we didn't. C&C3 is up there because, well, its C&C :p Those games will always be a classic, the only real difference between the two is that the C&C series has had much more going for it over the past decade whereas Total Annihilation stopped, and hasn't continued up until now. They're both big games, and with have a lot going for them. Supreme Commander has the big wide map ability thing, where you can quite literally scroll out to see more or less a map, and looking at the battlefield would be like looking at insects. The only thing that currently puts me off with C&C3 is the fact they are using 'older-styled' versions of the Obelisk of Light, and the 3rd race appears to be a bunch of giant collective spiders. I'd like to see some more maps and such from Supreme Commander. From what I've seen, it is mostly in the desert or jungle / forest, in C&C3 you've got cities and such. So yea, I can't make up my mind, thus wont vote. Just thought I'd give my opinion. PS: Jos, I sent you an e-mail Friday / Saturday in a reply to yours, have you got it as I was hoping for a reply back. Thanks! Oh yeah, and Jos - Welcome to the Forums ;)

I am going to have to say CnC just because of the story. You cannot beat the CnC story line......plus, KANE. IS. BACK.

I take this back, and I vote for Supreme Commander. Don't get me wrong, C&C3 will be awesome, however it is somewhat based on the same (and slightly boring) storyline, and I don't think it has as much to offer as Supreme Commander does, thus, Supreme Commander gets my vote. I'm still getting both the games, however I believe Supreme Commander has more going for it than C&C3 does.
IMO, The C&C franchise has been heading downhill since Red Alert 2. I expect the new one to be alright, but nothing special. I doubt I'll even buy it unless the reviews are stellar.
Supreme Commander on the other hand, now that's a game I'm excited about. Let's just hope it isn't buggy as hell with a cumbersome interface.
Command and conquer, the original, and Red Alert were some good original games. Everything else that came later in the C&C series was either rehashed or completely fubared. Want an example of their fubared? Toss 7 ’brutal’ AI’s in mid-sized map on Generals, or Zero hour. Play it for an hour. If it doesnt lag to unplayable levels, or flat out crash, you're one of few.
Worst skirmish AI I’ve ever seen, coded so poorly it crashes very frequently. I've tried G:ZHG on 4 seperate machines, all with various setups, and graphics cards. They all gave the same results... CTD's and unplayable lag.
If generals, and zero hour are any sign of what’s to come, there is no choice. Supreme Commander all the way.
