Rome Total War was great, Medieval Total was magnificent, but what about Fantasy? It would fit so perfectly! Their could also be vast amounts of different armies to choose from surely, it could also involve even more strategy if they made seige equipment into animals/living units aswell as involving dragons, how sick would that be?! I was thinking it would look something like this: wallpaper_warhammer_mark_of_chaos_0.jpg

it would be awesome...yes, but then it would lose it's good value for history as well as losing it's originality. There are a few games based around this area is the problem. I myself probably would not buy it if it was made.

Well, they could have it be in a Mythical sense (like they did with Age of Empires: Age of mythology).

True, but the only problem would be making some original mythology races etc. Everything seems to reflect LOTR or warhammer now...

Well the egyptians have a rich background, and i'm sure they could find some interesting stories from Trannsylvannia and among other places.

Most fantasy games embrace gothic style and Norse and Greek Mythologies To be more original, a fantasy game could take on more elements from the Byzantine and Mesopotamien empires, as well as Southern Asian societies

I would get it if it came out, but the idea of their games is to provide some historical accuracy, but then allowing you to take the reins and decide what happens from there, which wouldn't be possible if they did a fantasy game

Empire does look good though! Hope they don't spend too much time on the naval battles, and actually make adjustments on land...
