I'm having problems with the FC3 GUI and menus. They are making my game lag. When I've changed some settings in the FC3.dll file (they removed the GUI), the game runned smoothly. But I need both GUI+smooth menus and smooth FPS. Help would be appreciated.

P.S. : I'm running my game on DirectX9

And please, don't post such messages like "I have the same problem" without solution to it, because this won't fix anything

Might be useful to know some specs, and operating system etc.

Did you get the game through Steam?

The desktop version of the HD4000 can run most newer demanding games at absolute lowest settings and a very low resolution with a decent FPS

Found that quote on tomshardware and thought it about summed up your problem. If your rig is a laptop then it will be even worse. All you can do is turn everything down and off in your graphics setting and turn down the resolution. If that is not acceptable to you then you will have to buy a better graphics card (if it is a desktop pc) or buy a better laptop. Please no one say that a laptop with a HD4000 in it is in anyway a gaming laptop.

Actually, I'm not sure if my graphics card is Intel HD Graphics 4000. It may AMD Radeon, but I don't really know

As I said, only the GUI and menu is lagging. If I turn of GUI/HUD, the game runs smoothly

Then please find out what graphics card your using as it is important to your problem. The reason it runs laggy when you have the hud on is because your pc is doing more work so knowing your proper specs is needed to be able to help you in any way. We will also need to know ingame settings like AA, AF, resolution and so on.

Sorry for a long time of silence. I had problems with my account. Actually, I don't need help anymore. My cousin has tinkered with the driver settings, so FC3 is now running smoothly.
