I sure hope other people are interested in this. IGN recently announced that Square Enix has launched a project called the "Final Fantasy Series Port Project". The Japanese IV will be the first to be ported to the GBA. And, they hinted that all the SNES FF games will be coming to the GBA or the DS. Hell yeah... I've literally been waiting nearly 4 years to play Final Fantasy VI (American III) on a portable. Hurray!

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to post a link. http://gameboy.ign.com/articles/655/655325p1.html

Uhh, yeah, the Japanese I (Was American I as well) and II were in Dawn of Souls, but I dunno if they were part of this project. I know, the Japanese III is coming to the DS and will be the first title released as part of the project, then IV for the GBA.

Absolutely Mr E, but they better not F with the story, I'm sure you'd agree. I also don't want them to mess with the music, that game had my favorite video game soundtrack ever. I hope it won't be too long before these are made. I don't even know when III or IV are coming out.

Sounds interesting. Golden Sun will always be the greatest portable RPG on the GBA but its always good to see some classics make a return.

Yeah I hope they dont play around with it too much. A graphical overhaul would be nice. But gameplay wise, leave it as it is. I also hope they bring out Chrono Cross or was it Chrono Trigger? one of those was a Snes title... im sure. Either way neither made it over here to Australia, and I would love to give them a go as I have heard they are also one of the best RPG's ever. AND!!! GIMME! Secret of Mana wireless 3 player on the DS! Now that would be one of the best things that could ever happen in my opinion! *drool* Im also glad that now SquareEnix (back then Squaresoft) has gotten back onto the Nintendo wagon. Its been too long!
