Now, I don't know about you, but I'm freaking stoked. I wouldn't exactly call myself a Halo fanboy, but something damn-near close. I started the series with and loved Halo 3, despite how much I sucked at it. I loved Halo: Reach, despite the horrific multiplayer aspects like unbalanced armor abilities and exploited glitches.

So far, Halo 4 is looking pretty damn sexy. I think 343 may actually do a great job with it.

Oh, and the Battle Rifle is back. /instalove

I've never been a big fan of Halo. From the onset I could not take it seriously due to the cartoonish little Grunts waddling about frantically. I thought it might get better as it went, but then 343 Guilty Spark and the swelling/exploding Flood that looked a lot like yeast spilled all over the place confirmed otherwise.

It's a shame because it brings to the table a lot of good ideas, I just didn't feel immersed into a serious story given some of it's more laughable elements. Even had it grown on me, MS committed the unforgivable sin to a die hard PC player, they put it on Xbox only, where it remains today, but probably fittingly so given the content.

I experienced the contrary, >Omen<, I found 343 Guilty Spark, Libary and pretty much all flood levels very enjoyable. In fact, I think it's the more interesting part of the Halo series. It was extremely disappointing to not have any flood in Halo Reach.

That said, this 'trailer' is interesting. The armour definitely improved in both aesthetics and overall quality, and the GUI is also nicely improved (although not much was shown as of yet). Halo 4 is probably going to be my favourite out of all but Combat Evolved, but I can't really do more than to anticipate until release.

I've really enjoyed the Halo series up to Halo 3 - past that, I haven't really followed it.

:agreed

I don't own an Xbox. Only reason I've considered getting an Xbox is to play newer Halo releases. This has left me limited to playing with friends using my apocalyptic console skills.

I actually agree with this. It would have been great to see Halo 3 and Halo: Reach put on the PC, I would have played them in a heartbeat.

Sweet Jesus, it's still alive? I only really played Halo 1, on the PC. Decided it was too easy and that was about the end of it. Still, I suppose you can't go far wrong with a game about what's essentially a Space Marine. Though somehow GamesWorkshop keeps managing to do so.

You're not serious, are you? Legendary difficulty in Halo: Combat Evolved was f'in hard. The other ones on the same difficulty were easy though.

I genuinely hope you're not serious. Legendary on Halo 3 was ridiculous, especially the Flood.

Really? I don't even like Halo nor am I good on it and I beat it fairly easy on Legendary. Halo 2 was painfully easy on Legendary, I remember beating Tartarsauce on Legendery on my first try, although I had some friends fighting the other guys.
