So yeah, I just fixed my computer, and by fixed I mean I found out the problem then bought a new one.

So I just re-installed a few games that couldn't escape Microsoft's wrath. Sadly, I do not know the email I used for my GFWL account, I know the account name, but I cannot remember the email because it's been almost a year since I played a game on a PC.

There seems to be no option at all that lets you reset your email or anything, only password... Does anyone know what to do? Otherwise I've got a bunch of games that are useless to me.

Also not sure if this is supposed to be in Gaming or tech, movei f need be.

It's going to be a hotmail/livemail email address. All hotmail/livemail accounts are your Windows Live ID ever since Windows Live came into existence, which is what is used for logging into GFWL.

Best (or worst depending on pov) piece of advice I can give is to contact windows hotmail support and see if they can help.

It doesn't have to be a hotmail or livemail address. You can get a LIVE account with any email address. Contacting LIVE support, though, would be the best course of action if you really can't figure it out. Don't contact hotmail support though unless you know you had a hotmail account.

It was definitely a Hotmail account, as I wouldn't trust something as shitty as GFWL with one of my real accounts. Will Hotmail/Live support even do anything? If I don't remember the address I used chances are I forgot the 'secret' question and all of that stuff? Worth a try though, I'll contact them now...
