What games have you bought that you never should have, either because you beat them too fast or the quality was just not what you expected?
Assassin's Creed for me, waste of $60. Signed up for gamefly after that fumble and traded it in for a free month, not a total loss.
I bought Fallout 3 for the 360. I didn't like it very much. After playing Morrowind and Oblivion I felt far too restricted. But at least I was able to exchange it.
I dodged that one, didn't buy Fallout 3, I thought it was kinda fun but totally not near as good as Oblivion. Ended up playin it for a few weeks and sent it back to gamefly.
star trek legacy for the 360, it was broken, 6hours of game play even on the hardest mode...yet beacuse I'm Star trek collector I haven't pawned it in yet

Grand Theft Auto IV.
Uhm... Loki. Just a miserable wanna-be-copy of Sacred that wasn't even worth the 10€ I paid... I never saw something that sucked more.
Oh boy, just about every ID Software game since Quake
Quake 2 Doom 3 Quake 4 Return to castle wolfenstein
None of them were worth buying. A rental for 20 - 30 minutes would have been good enough.
team fortress 2 - one of the biggest let downs in my 13 years of PC gaming.
Resident evil for the wii - great game, but the controls are confusing. If you can get used to the controls, then its going to be worth buying.

Ditto, Burnout Paradise, and Dawn of War 2. I just didn't like the campaign in DoW2, too much repetition and boss battles.
...about half of the PS2 Games I have downstairs, lost in the crate of dust for all time.
