I'd like to see a Civil War and Wild West (Cowboy, Indian, Outlaws, Sheriffs) FPS. Also a good FPS based on Warhammer 40K (played the table top game for like 10 mins but its a very interesting game) What games would you guys like to see?

There are cowboy games. A civil war game would be boring. WWI The first war of modern warfare.

I think a BF Civil War would kick ass. WWI would be cool. I love games like Red Baron where there is bi-plane combat. [QUOTE=Praet0rian]I would like to see a War game based from the axis side.

Close Combat series was pretty good. Any games based on the Eastern front I tend to root for the axis. [glow=3]Please don't double post. Use the edit button -Lord Wiener[/glow]

There are a few games I would like to see:

1) A massive online Medieval warfare game in which 400+ players could fight hand-to-hand with swords, spears, bow, etc in castle-sieging or land battles all with appropriate Medieval weaponry, including cavalry, catapults, trebuchets, etc. A game like this with that many possible players online at one time would be very technologically demanding but also quite awesome.

2) WWI, it could make for a good game, but there is the problem that WWI was almost completely static warfare. Any sudden movement of a soldier would result in a sniper's bullet, machine gun bullets ripping through the body. I could see it being fun storming over the trenches with a large number of allies against an enemy trench but there would be lots of death and re-spawning in the process. I would be ten-times happier if I would be able to play as a Canadian soldier [we were the Allies' elite troops].

3) Korean War, the Forgotten War should be remembered in a BF1942-esque game covering the many battles of the Korean War. There is muh potential in such a game as Korea was a very mobile, non-static war which introduced many things to warfare, including jet-on-jet battles [I know I would like to fly a MiG-15 or F-86 Sabre] and some other things.

I believe that there is a FPS based on Warhammer 40K. Fire Warrior is the name and I know of it being on playStation2 but I'm unsure as to if it is on other platforms... Whoever said a WW2 game from the Axis side, I think that BattleField1942 did a good job of this if I'm honest although more maps would've been nice. The thing is with a thread like this, pretty much every kind of game has been done, just not all successful or well known.

Fire Warrior sucked tho.

A Korean War game would be cool but you are mistaken. In fact the Korean War became very static after the presence of the Chinese army caused us to withdraw our forces back to the 54 parallel (i think thats it). It became trench warfare in hills. Static warfare with snipers dominating the battlefield. So any game based on the Korean War or WWI would not be accurate at all b/c an accurate version would be very boring.
