Bs|ArchaonPray tell how being given the choice to use a cat as a silencer is worse than a game which forces you to execute humans and rewards you for doing it 'well'?
I don't recall bitching about it being immoral, unethical, forced upon the gamer, etc. For the record, I myself think quite a few things about Postal are amusing.
My point is, there's a line, y'know. There's just some things you shouldn't do.
Neither game has the moral high ground, anywya. I just feel there's a difference between immoral and plain fuggin' sick.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Pluppet;4163792In a way, this is just a clone of Jeff & Eddies thread in the Pub....
Nice comparision. I like the choices he gave us too.
No, gaming has not gone to far, It's the people playing the games that have.
Kouen;4164140Manhunt 2 is bad? Hell, what about Postal? I don't know about you, but shoving a shotgun up a cat's arse and using the cat as a silencer, is something I do not find amusing. Individual stupidity is to blame in the majority of cases, but there are a lot of seriously bad calls made by certain developers with certain titles. :cort:[/quote] well some people say manhunt 2 isnt that violent but i did see some execution for the first and i got really freaked out. you mean me?
crisissuit3;4165490 you mean me?
Yea, you. IF we think you are wrong, we woulden't call you a dumbfuck, we would just explain our views. Not bash you.
:cort: no it has not
I don't think gaming has gone far at all. I think that it's the dumb shit losers who think that life is a video game.
Gaming hasn't gone too far at all. The games coming out now aren't any worse to games that came out a couple of years ago and so on.
I agree with the other people who have said it's the player's fault.
How can it be the game's fault? These problems don't happen to everyone who plays the game, just the people who can't control themselves.
If it was the game's fault wouldn't these things happen to everyone who plays them?
