Anyone interested in creating a GF members-only table on Party Poker? This would not be for real money, but it would be fun. It would be no-limit hold-em. It is just an idea.

Thanks. Just have to make it private if possible, unless you want others to play (those not in GF), which is cool either way. With some thought and some organization and stuff, this could work out nicely.

No, i agree with the whole GF-only part...it would add another little thing for GF members to get together and compete, like hourly poker matches you need to sign up for... This might be like the IRC chat in respect that it could be a place for GF members to hang out.

You can use real or fake money. It costs nothing to get and nothing to play. I was proposing a fake money table or tables for this idea. No real money would be involved (not at the moment, but this is unlikely to change). I play on it myself using only fake money.

It'd be cool to have a poker table/site, we can also bet the reputation points :naughty:

We can have 3 kinds of poker: Regular poker, Omaha and Texas Hold 'em (I personally like the regular kind over the other 2)

Party Poker has 3 game types, not including the subtypes: Texas Hold 'Em Omaha Hold 'Em 7 card Stud. For Texas Hold 'em, the differences in the games are just the way you bet. ((x/2)/x) betting (ex 15/30), pot limit, and no limit). The first betting style restricts the amount you can bet at once, but the other two do not. All but no limit has a maximim pot size per betting round limit as well. It is the betting strategies and stuff that make this style of poker quite fun. In Omaha Hold 'em, there is regular and Hi-Lo, along with the different betting options (same a Texas Hold 'em). For 7 Card Stud, again there is regular and Hi-Lo, but there is only the (x/2)/x (ex: 15/30) style of betting available. There may be other versions of Omaha and 7 Card Stud, but I am sure that that is all of those variations. There are no variations of Texas Hold 'em, just different betting options. This is unless you want to come up with a completely different program here for poker. I was just referring to using party poker to do this, but our own site might actually work better provided that someone can make it and code it. If so, that will take a while. If you want to use something else other than Party Poker to do this, say so and I will pass the idea to the admins if they have already lurked into this thread (and if it is ok to do so). The karma betting will not happen, unless you were joking about that ElPana (you probably were). If so, good thinking then (lol).
