Me and a group of friends enjoy playing online multiplayer games, mostly war/military games. For example, command and conquer games, we have been playing generals lately, but it is getting old. It doesnt matter if its rts or fps. I have a friend that a sucky *** internet connection, but its workable, it would be good to keep the demands somewhat down for that friend, does anyone have any suggestions for games, and please list the details about it, and the most recent price. Thanks in advanced.
If you're into that type of games, definitely start with Battlefield 1942.
It's addictive : No Gore : Servers Never Empty : Multiple Connections and Servers : Fun
If you want to start, get the Deluxe Package: It comes with the original and the expansion pack: Road to Rome (great expansion)
You may also want to try Call of Duty, Black Halk Down and CounterStrike.

Yeah, I already have BF 42, and the expansion: secret weapons, I also have bf vietnam, they are great games. But the only problem is, the other friend that I play with, for some reason, it has a problem with BF games. BF 42 never worked, vietnam worked for a little bit, then his brother unistalled it improperly i guess, and now its screwed up. Thanks though.
yeh id say Call of Duty is preety mad right now, and maybe Far Cry. Ive never tried Black Hawk Down, but beleive it to be pretty cool (?)
RTCW is older but its still hella fun. fast pased FPS set in WW2 time. Axis vs Allies MP. there are multiple game modes, obj, check point, forget the rest >_<...

Whats RTCW?
that site didn't really help me much on game info...but, its a cool game. if you've got a windows system ( i bet you do...) you can also try Enemy Territory (go to http://wolfenstein.filefront.com/ to get more info on it). its a free game and some say better than RtCW. i wouldn't know though, never played it.
Rise of Nations? Has exremly low requirments for online play:) I have c&c generals and am still playing it(after a year)bfv and halo
I play Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2, but if you are into new games I would go with number 2. For really fun games that I think a whole group would enjoy, your best bet is going with Call of Duty in my opinion. If you are into more fantasy, I would go with Halo PC but that game has so many problems with it that you are better off not touching it.
go with unreal tournament 2004. best game I've played in months. tends to get addictive...
