What, a quad core is recommended?, who came up with these requirements over at Rockstar?

Is it just me, or does that seem a bit overboard to be recommending?, Im sure a good dual core would be just as good. :lookaround:

Those are the "RECOMMENDED" requirements. They will always be toward the top of the line stuff.

I know, but it still seems a bit too much to be recommending a quad core, especially since alot of times (though not always), even recommended system requirements dont seem to run games to their fullest.

Maybe Im just overreacting. :D

Well for me it definatley seems a bit too much but it still makes me the tad bit nervous,I really want this game and it would be nice to be able to run on medium.

I would say your laptop is fine, but after playing COD4 on my friends laptop with a 3.2ghz cpu, 4gb of ram, and SLI'd 8700GT's I would say you might be able to get by on low detail, I was quite disappointed in that thing expecting much more from the hardware it has. =/
