It looks interesting. I may give it a try...

I'd never heard of it, so here's some info I dug up on it:

Anything that has a splurge of gorey violence and allows me slaughter endless hordes of enemies has me in. Looks good, and will hopefully make a change from all of other shooter games out there.

Well, not sure on the endless hordes (like SS2) but if you watch the trailers, you can scalp people :naughty:

Depends. What I liked about GTA is the large, explorable environment that was mostly open-ended. If all the game is about is violence, probably would not get it. However, the Wild West has been largely ignored by the gaming industry, so almost anything could provide a good change in pace.

have you watched the trailers? There seems to be a good solid story in the game

That reminds me.... the last wild west game I've ever heard of that wasn't a mod was Outlaws back in '98 or so. That was a nice game. I've been waiting for a sequel, now this seems to be a worthy substitute.

There was a game released in the last two years, but it was a major flop. It was basically one of those arcade games at a pizza place with the plastic guns and you recieved points for hitting targets.

I loved Outlaws, and was also hoping for a sequel from LucasArts or something similar to come along. Hopefully this game will suffice, at the very least it's an Old West era game to play. :)
