yes. the game looks awesome. I read in a gaming magazine that it is a very open-ended game. Instead of cars, you have horses. You can duel wield a six shot revolver and way more!

Now that I've tried it, I'm fairly disappointed in it. It won't say it sucks, but it's not exactly holding my interest.

I don't really like the (mainly) 3rd person style of shooter that it is. I've liked other 3rd person shooters, but this one just doesn't "feel" right to me. The targeting reticule is rediculously large, and I swear that even my 1 yr old son could hit most targets using it.

Perhaps I need to give it more time, but my initial impressions of it would not lead me to recommend it to anyone. It seems to be pretty average.

There is no first person toggle? That kind of takes the fun out of it...

I'm not going to get it right away. If the Xbox 360 version looks better, then maybe I'd get it. All the reviews I've read on it have said that the story was very short and disappointing, but gameplay was nice and dandy. Third person view isn't that great, but I liked it in the Metal Gear Solid games and Splinter Cell, as well as Resident Evil 4. The main problem I've found with this view is bad camera angles, but a lot of games now have gotten rid of this problem.

I recommend the Wild West mod for RTCW. First Person, and although it uses the now outdated Quake 3 engine, it still looks great. The Mod team has also bough licensing to newer game engines and is moving on. Wild West forever!

Hmmm...I'm more than a bit wary of buying this game. I like Westerns but as games they tend to suck, very much similar to Vietnam shooters. I will have to read many reviews before I even consider buying it.

I loved Red Dead Revolver so I’m definitely getting this.

Isn't that the game where the fat clown guy could run faster than your character? I can't remember - that game wasn't exactly the greatest. It had it's flaws, but then again, every game does. Needed to be on PC for a patched/updated version.

I shot a man in the face with a flaming arrow and then gloated at him for several minutes, its a great game. But meh, love the Wild West genre, game looks good and all so that's probably more of a reason for me to get it.
