I remember when Halo:CE came out on the original Xbox. Multiplayer was like Mario Kart for adults.

>Omen<;5389560I could never take Halo CE PC too seriously.

I could never take Halo too seriously, from the stupid ass enemies, such as Grunts, to the boring story which is just like every other "space" story out there.

Actually the storyline is pretty well made I think. Theres been books etc and they have developed it quite well. It's typical because it's sci-fi. Alien invasion etc. But ultimately including stuff like spartans is quite unique.

How are the enemies stupid? the grunts are supposed to be funny. You can't complain about the enemies. If theres supposed to be giant grenade laucnher wielding apes then hows it stupid?

I wouldn't say most anticipated..... although the console crowd is large, the fact that Halo is now and always console exclusive, PC only crowd is put off or turned off. Which might make COD more anticipated.

Although I have my eyes on MOH 2010.

The PC thing is a bit odd though. Halo has 1) A near-silent protagonist which PC gamers use as a negative point against Halo, and yet Gordon Freeman (who's even quieter) is largely ignored in this debate. Also, as far as I know, not many shooters before Halo had much vehicle driving. I can easily say I need it explained to me >.>

Also, 5 days left.

Yes. Masterchief is a character without character.

Gordon Freeman is a geek, easy for us gamers to relate to.

Master Chief is a stereotypical grunt. Without some sort of character development, he is very difficult to relate to.
