The problem is the new games only run on xp or 2000. Well i can't change my OS; so i need to find other games that will run on 98se. I look but i run across a lot of the same stuff. Some examples i have: Max Payne 1 and 2, Halo, SOF, AvP 2, Blood 2, Will Rock, Ricochet, Jedi Outcast, Aquanox, Diablo, Outlaws (old game but i'm still having fun working thru it). Whether it's new or old doesn't really matter. FPS, tanks, submarines, sci fi, horror, (i have Typing of the Dead, that game cracks me up) helicopters, platforms, i'll try anything except for certain genres. Like strategy or driving, 'cause i really suck at that type of thing. RPGs, one person Combat, MMOs, Stealth. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with those games, it's like a book that looks good but you just can't get into it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Battlefield Vietnam, Pacman :p. I think Driver1.
All I can think of now.
But dude, Updrade to XP NOW!!.
Hey, I think most games that are like 6+ months old will still play on Win2k, So have a look for older games.
Seriously consider updating, but if absolutely can't, then try these: The Sims, No One Lives Forever 2, Baldur's Gate, Duke3D with enchaments, emulators, and Thief 2.
No! I'm Spamacus!

Most modern games will play on Windows 2000 as far as I have seen, a lot of compatability issues are related to people generally having older hardware if they have an older O/S.
CnC, SOF 2 (a must), Elite Force all those are good
This is worse than my computer, way worse. Try different demos, If they work go ahead and buy. I think that settles it ;).
First, i'd like to thank folks for replying. Hey, Nowhere: cool pic of the sun you have there.
There's no way i can afford a new OS, 'sides my flatmate has xp and i've seen it give her fits. It reminds me win95 which was kind of a hinky program to work with.
Aye i have the NOLF2 demo, got SOF 2, Elite Force I (demo for #2). Some games are everywhere, and then there's places like Filefront which will have demos that you don't see everywhere. So i figured maybe the people that come here know some games i haven't heard of/seen yet.
