I just installed SimCity 4 Deluxe and I have this strange graphical glitch. Link to image

The game runs fine until I scroll the mouse to the side of the screen, then this happens. I am running the latest patch for the game and I am well inside the spec range. I was thinking it may be my graphics drivers but I don't really know much about them, any ideas?

Never seen anything like it...I've played that game alot as well. Best bet would maybe be to reinstall it and if you think it's graphic drivers you couldn't hurt to reinstall them anyway.

If not hopefully someone else will know the answer. I've guessed you've tried googling the problem?

what operation system are you running and what graphics card do you have in your machine? one of those two are the likely cause of your problem.

I'm running it on Windows XP and I have an Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS, the driver version in the nvidia cp is 197.45.

Ah, fixed it. I had overlooked some of the graphics options, changing from hardware to software solved the problem.

I wouldn't want to play Sim City 4 in software, may as well be playing Sim City 2000.
