How to make an AI follow a set path (waypoints) =============================== 01.) Place several waypoint markers on your map. These are found in the "Objects Pallete" under the section "Markers" 02.) Click the "Waypoints" tab and click the "New Folder" button. Rename the folder. 03.) Highlight the new folder and click the "New List" button. Rename the list. 04.) Make sure the new waypoint list is highlighted. 05.) Click on the waypoint markers in your map that you want to add to the list. *see notes. Note:- Each marker you click on is automatically added to the list. The list will become available for choosing in the Events tab. 06.) Add an AI guy to your map from the "People" section in the "Objects Pallete". 07.) Click the Events Tab. 08.) Click "New Folder" button. Rename the folder. 09.) Highlight the new folder and click the "New event" button. Rename the event. 10.) Choose "Conditional Event" from the popup. 11.) Click the "New Condition" button. 12.) Under the "Flow" category, select "Never". 13.) Click the "New Action" button. 14.) Under the "Units" category, select "Unit To Waypoint", two boxes will appear. 15.) Pick your AI from the drop down menu in the first box. 16.) Then choose your waypoint list from the drop-down of the bottom box. 17.) Save and Test.
