Preordered Black Ops. :(
Even tho I hate Treyarch with every hair on my body for their rape of the CoD franchise.

I still just don't know.
I liked MW2, I did. I got sick of the players, and once Infinity Ward caved in on itself, I lost hope.
I'll play Reach for a while, and I may or may not pick up Black Ops, depending on how it looks.
As much as I hate Activision... I'm still on the fence. :uhm:
If IW regrouped and put out a MW3 next year, I'd buy it. Makarov is still alive.
I didnt buy the fancy version with the RC car. I just bought the regular one. My video game budget for the year is shot, with the force unleashed 2, medal of honor and fallout new vegas.

Can't say that I'm interested in the next CoD to be honest. I loved CoD 1, I enjoyed CoD4, and even though MW2 was made by the same people, using the same engine, in a similar way, it just didn't do anything for me. The X factor was missing somehow.
I dont know if we can expect a MW3. All common sense would say yes, after the open ending of MW2. But with the internal problems that IW had,...I dunno. It would be stupid to NOT make a MW3, as it would make an assload of money. My fear is they will let Treyarch make it.
Medal Of Honor 2010 already seems to be like a Modern Warfare 3... But with vehicles.
EH Im going to give EA the benefit of the doubt and try the new MoH. But considering they should have had this type of game out awhile ago (around 2007), I am not holding my breath for anything good.

To Treyarch's defense, they did a damn fine job on World at War. I used to think it had lots of texture glitches until I saw it played on more modern spec than mine. It looks great, has great missions, good voice acting, plenty of challenge and replay value. Playing WaW on Veteran is FAR more difficult than any CoD by IW (except for 1 level in MW). It's something to aspire to and be proud of when you accomplish it. The sp campaign also has pretty good length to it compared to some of IWs offerings. It used to be Treyarch I was skeptical about, but anymore it's Activision.
Who knows what IW's future projects will be. A lot of it is going to depend on the results of the trial with Activision.

They focused too much on the multiplayer to make a strong single player campaign. To be honest, I think IW was forced into making MW2. It feels rushed and incomplete.
You all know how I feel about Activision, so I'm sadly never touching a CoD game ever again. I've already pre-ordered MoH, and I really hope it doesn't have a short SP and isn't MP-focused. I did enjoy the beta, though.
I did not care one iota for WaW. It could have been a good game in its own right but not attached to the CoD franchise. The game didnt have the feel of any other CoD game. Same with CoD 3. They felt different. Not the same CoD as 1, 2 or 4. Plus I found it far too difficult a game. I even tried the easiest setting and I couldnt get past the last level.
