When your sniping its not a point and kill gun you have to aim it, the real noob gun is the shotgun...
Sniping takes a lot of skill and patience to get good at. You also have to try to make sure they don't see you. The fact of the matter is snipers aren't noobs you just need to adjust to dealing with them.
Forgotten Hope is a mod for BF1942. Not just a mod, its an EXCELLENT mod. The mod itself is worth even more than $40

actually it isnt. It's really the underdog at far ranges. A shotguns effective kill range is about 0-40 Meters. Anythign beyond that takes a good hit to kill. Plus body armor is highly, highly resistant to shotgun Shot. I've known of turkeys that have flown away uninjured at all because the shot bounced off their FEATHERS at a farther range. In SOF2 I do agree the M203 is not realistic. The Real M203 grenade has a Arming delay on the fuse which will cause it to not explode if it hits the ground before the Arming Delay works (DeltaForce: BHD does have this modeled exceptionally). The RPG is also inaccurate against moving targets too, and is fatal to the launcher at a close quarter.
I'm way cooler than n0e (who isn't though?)

im gona say this once, a sniper rifle is not merely a gun with a scope attached all that is a scoped rifle. A sniper rifle is a rifle that is designed with a fixed scope, has a slow rate of fire and is designed to kill within the first shot. there effective range with the most common sniper rifle is about 700m to 1100m when you start talking about big things such as the Barret M82A1 sniper rifle (.50cal bullet) its effective range becomes about 1400m to be a sniper takes true skill not only in games but is a lot harder in real life. It involves becoming camoflauged and working with your partner (a spotter - watches for enemies and spots targets) I have not yet found a game which requires you to camofluage yourself and find a way out from enemy lines (where sniping really happens) and shows the true characteristics of the sniping art. if you ever get the chance try sniping down at a target range or go hunting its great fun trust me im doing my application to become a sniper now in the aussie army
sniping very much takes skill...i beleive that in moh though the sniping shouldnt really be called that. that maps are very small then you find the other guy and u just take shot after shot 3 feet away from eachother until one kills the other. in CoD it takes awhile to learn the scope and movement. after playing MOHAA i thought sniper rifles in COD were very hard. in COD the maps a good size and usally most snipers get good kills. rarly is there a 1 v 1 sniper fight 3 feet away from eachother. a good sniper knows the habbits of the enemy sniper like what building he likes...the next round he may fix his scope on the building the other sniper likes then get the kill after being patient. ok so thats just my opnion BUT adding that u always have to worry about mg's and enemy troops behind ur sniping spot makes it even more difficult.
Snipers are not n00bs at all. most of the snipers I have seen are very good and rarely die. sometimes I will sniper and i'll get 10kills and 2 deaths. Now a relly n00bish weapon is the VSS on DC. It is an automatic silenced sniper rifle:mad:. Oh and sniping is so easy... try sniping on Joint operations:naughty:.
alot people who play ww2 online games think they're the new vasili etc or Maj.Koning with their sniper rifles
