My grandkids are beginning to take an interest into the things I have done in the past. Namely, Korea. Now, I know I'm being annoying and won't shut up about that, but I'll stop it soon. Basically, are there any games or these 'modification' things that have anything to do with the Korean War? Because I'll buy it for them and leave it at that. If you can't think of anything, I'll hand over the M*A*S*H collection. Every episode, taped, the original, with commercials. I'd hate to part with that treasure.

Im not sure about Korea... But theres an Overflow of war games out there IE: Battlefield Vietnam, VIETCONG, Call Of Duty, Full Spectrum warrior etc.

Thats a small list of various ranging titles (Different time zones/generations) WW2, Vietnam, Modern etc. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately Korea is becoming the Forgotten War and isn't given much attention these days, especially in the gaming world. The closest you really are going to get is a World War II or Vietnam game.

From there I would have to suggest Call of Duty for WWII and Vietcong for Vietnam. However, there are people out there who modify those games for free and there could possibly be some sort of Korea War add on for them.

Sorry I couldn't be any more help... :uhm:

For a World War Two game, get them Battlefield 1942 and then download the Forgotten Hope modification. But, to my knowledge, there aren't any games about the Korean War... They seem to have left you out...

I would suggest BattleField Vietnam, closest thing to Korea I can think of.It'll keep them occupied for months, then when they get bored of normal BFV they can download PoE and have some fun.

Here is a good site with a lot of war games (hence the name of the url). http://www.wargamer.com/Default.asp They might have some games on the Korean War, but like Ensign pointed out, there arn't too many of them.

Ensign RilesUnfortunately Korea is becoming the Forgotten War...

Ironic you bring that up. There is an excellent one either out or coming out soon called Korea: Forgotten Conflict.

Squad based. Think 'Commandos', only ten times better. There is a medic in there for you, too.

The narrator apparently sounds like Radar at times (I'm a MASH fan, too) as seen in this quote:

"It triggered a dragged-out conflict that drags on to this day."
