Just came out this morning: IGN: Infamous Review Can't say that I'm particularly surprised - this is from the same group that built an entire inFamous section of their website at inFAMOUS Destination Hub - but still, it's nice to see somebody else proclaiming the game as solid as the demo has seemed to me. I've already played through the demo 3 times... can't wait to pick up the real thing in 2 weeks!
As much as I want the game to be good, I still say it doesn't look interesting.
Well, you can find out for yourself now - Sony just unlocked the demo on the PSN yesterday, so you don't need a code to download it any more. Just be warned - it's a large file (because the demo is about an hour long), so it'll take a while to download. Worth it, though - I love it!
Ughh, I got a litte excited watching the review video. Looked good and I was reassured that the open-endedness wasn't limited to just roaming the streets and doing your own stuff; there were side quests! But then I checked the platforms, and it said PS3. I guess I will get Damnation on that day instead.

Eurogamer sort-of agrees. I don't have a PS3 so I don't care, I just thought it amusing to find a thread where somebody actually puts stock in IGN giving something a 9/10.
IGN is the main review site I usually follow - I don't disagree with them too often, and they don't seem to give out too many ridiculously high scores, unlike some other magazines (*cough-Nintendo-Power-cough*). I picked the game up when it came out yesterday, and so far, I'm quite happy with it; it kind of reminds me of a blend between GTA and Spiderman 2. Plus the copy I picked up had the beta code inside for the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta that starts next week, and I sure as hell can't complain about THAT! :naughty:
