This game (JTF) requires 5 gig of HD space.I have an entire Drive free( about 7.5 GB).Problem is the installer keeps saying I need to have more space in order to install the game.

Is there something wrong with the disc(its a DVD)?

Is the hard drive you are installing it on your master or your slave hard drive?

If it's your slave: Some installers only look at your primary hard drive (even though you selected your slave) when doing the space check. So while you may be trying to install it on a secondary/slave, the program sees that the primary hard drive is only like 1 gig.

This happened with me when Trying to install the BF2 patches... I had to delete a lot of files on my primary HD so that it'd shut the eff up. :p

Try that.

I like this game. I had the same problem with hard drive not full. I had to put it on my default drive..had to free a good amount of space. Worth it though, the game owns

Yeah, that happens because it extracts the files then installs them then deletes the extracted temporary files that it installed from, effectively using, in some cases, twice as much hard-drive space during installation.
