I'm immensely interested in this game. Thoughts?

Just as long as it isn't another disappointing point and click episodic game, like BTTF: The Game turned out to be, then I'll get it.

"Clever girl..."

It doesn't look like it is. I've been following this game pretty much since its inception. IIRC, it takes place immediately following the events of the first Jurassic Park film, I.E, the same day/night that the main characters escaped the island.

I was tempted to give it a try once it drops in price, because why the fuck not? I kind of wish I had one of those old Jurassic Park arcade games you usually found at theme parks or in popular arcades. Those were a lot of fun.

As much as I like any game with dinosaurs, I watched some gameplay on this and wasn't too impressed, maybe if it has a demo...

Turns out it is a point and click episodic adventure game. However, I must say it is quite a unique style of gameplay. Or maybe it has been done before in BTTF: The Game and it's just new to me.

The "arrow" keys (WASD) control the cinematic scenes. It is almost like playing through a movie that you control. Little arrows will pop up on screen point up or down, left or right, and you have to press the corresponding "arrow" key to progress through the scene. Succeed and you live. Fail and the characters will either be injured or meet an untimely demise in something's jaws...

The story is pretty good so far though. It's got me hooked.

Damn it. I still have Oblivion to play!
