I'm looking for good gaming performance between these two laptops below,

Which one will best for gaming performance?

Laptop 1.

*Operating System: Windows XP

*Display: 15.4" Wide Screen WXGA (1280 x 800) Display

*Memory: 1024MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x512]

*Video Graphics: Intel® Media Accelerator 950 Graphics Up to 256MB shared graphics memory and other usual stuff.....

Laptop 2:

Inspiron 1501:

*Processor: AMD® Sempron™ Mobile Technology 3500+

*Operating System: Windows XP

*Display: 14.1" Wide Screen WXGA (1200x800) TFT Display

*Memory: 1024MB 533MHz Single Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x512]

Laptop 2 imo, especially since with the ATI card you will be able to support many newer games then with the Intel.

Yeah, I was really leaning towards option 1 at first, due to the slightly larger screen and the dual channel vs. single channel RAM. But the ATI card pushes it over the top.

What about processors? If I can swap and change which would be best?

The Processor: Intel® Celeron® M 520 Processor (1.6GHz,533MHz,1MB L2 cache)

or Processor: AMD® Sempron™ Mobile Technology 3500+

I doubt you'll be doing any really recent gaming on either machine so I'd go for the one with the slightly larger screen.

The first laptop has intergrated graphics....thats an instant "No" if your going to be doing any kind of gaming..But dont expect much out of either of them.
